XML Sitemap Generator

Generate XML sitemaps by crawling your website. Discover all pages, set priorities, change frequencies, and download a ready-to-submit sitemap.

Why XML Sitemaps Are Essential for SEO

An XML sitemap is a file that lists all important URLs on your website, helping search engines like Google, Bing, and Yahoo discover and crawl your pages more efficiently. Without a sitemap, search engine bots rely solely on following links, which means some pages — especially new, deep, or orphaned ones — may never get indexed.

Sitemaps also communicate valuable metadata to search engines, including last modification dates (so crawlers know when content changed), change frequency (how often pages are updated), and priority (which pages are most important relative to others on your site).

Google recommends sitemaps for websites with more than 500 pages, sites with lots of archived or poorly interlinked content, new websites with few external backlinks, and sites that use rich media content or appear in Google News.

After generating your sitemap, submit it to Google Search Console and Bing Webmaster Tools for fastest indexing. You should also reference it in your robots.txt file using the directive: Sitemap: https://yourdomain.com/sitemap.xml
